Activities like tummy time and crawling, or just free play time, strengthen both their muscles and motor skills as well as encourage independence. Who can blame them after 9+ months in a cozy womb? But as they grow, it’s essential to provide them with room to move and explore. Hence the one star.It’s a natural instinct for babies to seek warmth and protection. One positive was the cancellation was handled quickly and we were refunded in full. However such terrible service and long wait resulted in cancellation. Finally able to process a return when we called the sales department and someone actually answered - don't take on new sales when you can't fill your old ones, and use some of those people to handle your complaints! The most annoying part was listening to the hold message saying "your order will ship within one day!" Was very disappointed, as we did want the product. Several calls to the service department went to voicemail with the promise of a return call within 24 hours, no response. A full month after our order was processed, (and our credit card charged), we had received absolutely no updated information and no updated delivery date. However you still need to communicate this to your customers. I understand that shipping and manufacturing have been impacted by COVID. Unfortunately I cannot rate the overall quality of the product. The material looks to be of good quality, but I can't speak yet for how it's holding up. Their site was easy to navigate and filter results to get just what I was looking for, and it was great I could select exactly how many tiles I wanted for my needs. Otherwise, they were very generous with free shipping and letting me keep their mistake. I guessed the first email was the warehouse replying and the emails just came out of order, but that was a little confusing. The other came second and said they contacted the warehouse and were awaiting reply. The first said thanks for letting them know but go ahead and keep them. Their customer service was responded very quickly to my inquiry, though I got responses from two different people. The warehouse ended up making an error that resulted in them sending me an entire set of mat pieces (12), instead of the one I'd ordered (wow!). While I couldn't choose a color, I was able to find the correct material and thickness that matched near-perfectly! I could order a single tile, which was super cheap, and FREE SHIPPING!! It was amazing. I was looking for a piece of foam mat for children to help me create replacement pieces for a set I already had. Save yourself the hassle and take your business elsewhere. There are many others out there with reputable names. I'm continuing with my legal grievance, but as for now, they have screwed me out of my money and product. So I was forced to file a complaint with my credit card company and then FoamTiles lied about what they had told me, nullifying my case. And then ignored two more attempts to resolve the issue. I told them that resolution was not acceptable for me. They offered me a partial discount on the "lesser" product I received. Then 4 days later, they contacted me saying, "whoops, can't do that" - But since I had then already used the product, they refused to refund me or send out the correct item. Their customer service rep told me they would simply file it as damaged goods, and that I could keep it and use as I'd like, while they would send me the correct product. Shady business practices FoamTiles sent me the wrong product.
